Unseen University Postcards - The Library (2)

This is somewhere in the Library of Unseen University.  You are in a corner formed by shelves in front of you and to your left.  A strange muttering sound surrounds you, a low murmur like the sound of starlings playing Agatean whispers.  However hard you try, you cannot localise the source - it seems to be coming from everywhere, like the strange violet light that almost illuminates the Library.
Your skin tingles with the discharge of magic and the air feels greasy and tastes of tin.

Unseen University Postcards - The Library

This is somewhere in the Library of Unseen University.  You are in an aisle, with shelves to your right and to your left.  The air is dry and feels like it has been boiled in a sock for a thousand years; there is also a sound, right on the edge of hearing, as of falling snow or the rusting of iron.
Your skin tingles with the discharge of magic and the air feels greasy and tastes of tin.
There are two obvious exits: forward and backward.

Wurphle's Packed Lunch

A few days ago I managed to master the skills I needed to cast this beauty (with a little help from a bronze helm, I must admit). This means there are only 3 spells left I have never cast, and which in no long time must go down to 0. Yippee!!

What's it called? Wurphle's Packed Lunch (WPL in short)

What does it do? It creates a wizard's lunch sack, which is a wearable container that magically preserves food (and more convenient: body parts) from spoiling without the need to cure them (whether with a pickling stick or non-magical means). This makes a really useful spell, as most wizards move around a lot, harvesting eyes and hearts 'on the run', and they oftentimes go mouldy, sometimes even in mid-cast.

Where is it? It lately resurfaced inside the pages of a very sticky grimoire: The Olde Arte of Foode, in the Unseen University Library.

What does it require? This was a bit of a bugger, as components are really expensive and/or difficult to get: a hubland bear fur (I died once trying to get one of these...), a sapient pearwood seed, a wood riving, a large rhokshial crystal (this costs a small kingdom), a threaded needle and a knife. Except for needle and knife, all other components are consumed in the process. The spell also requires the focus of an octogram.

What skills do I need? animating, enchanting, whittling and binding. Requirements are pretty high, but nothing a mid-level wizard cannot muster. Perhaps the whittling is the most annoying one, even if you are a Silver Star.

Has it worked? A correct output should read something like this:

You prepare to cast Wurphle's Packed Lunch.
> You hold out a sapient pearwood seed in front of you and force it to sprout with your mind, weaving its branches as they grow into a wooden frame.
You unevenly sew a dark violet bear fur over the frame to form a dark violet bag, imbuing it with magic with every pass of your whalebone needle.
You whittle a six-foot riving of oak into an intricate magical rune and place it onto the bag, where it sticks in place. With the leftover oak, you fashion a simple clasp to hold the bag closed.
Finally, you hold up a large blue crystal above the rune and reach into it with your mind, harnessing its power for the purpose of preservation.
Crackling arcs of blue energy surge out of the crystal and play over the surface of the dark violet wizard's lunch sack for a moment before sinking in reluctantly.

And that's it! If all has gone well, you should amidst your hands the following beauty:

This rustic-looking pouch is essentially a large dark violet fur bag designed to be worn from the waist.  Sewn together with uneven dark amber silk stitching, the fur is supported internally by a wooden frame to help it retain its shape and a simple oak clasp at the opening allows the sack to be closed securely.  A mysterious, glowing blue rune carved from oak has been affixed to the sack's surface.  While the exact purpose of the rune is indeterminable, its exciting sparkliness really hammers in the lunch sack's wizardliness to any onlooker.
A gossamer web of octarine glows dimly on its surface, emanating an aura of icy preservation.
The dark violet wizard's lunch sack has one main pocket, one dessert pocket, one cheese pocket and one appetizer pocket.
You cannot see inside it.  It is closed.
It is in excellent condition.

Notes: The pelt you get from a hubland bear can be tanned (and turned into 'fur') and dyed with a coloured ink of your choice. In my case, Thanks go to Geryon for colouring it for me.

Your skills in some crafts areas will affect the result: crafts.carpentry.whittling determines the look of the clasp ('simple' in my case) and crafts.materials.needlework the stitching ('uneven' in my case).

You may also remember that there are four colours for a rokshial crystal, whether big or small: yellow, green, blue and red. Depending on the one you find, the preservation magic is different: they will be vacuum, acidic, icy and fiery preservation respectively (mine was blue). Every time you open the sack you get a message:

A shock of frigid air escapes from the dark violet wizard's lunch sack as it opens.

At the bottom you can enjoy an iconograph of my own one.

Help Information:

Wurphle's Packed Lunch - crafts a lunchsack for keeping your lunch in

This spell helps you craft a lunchsack using a hubland bear fur, sapient pearwood seed, wood riving and a large rhokshial crystal. A threaded needle and a knife are also required, but not consumed.

The resulting lunchsack will keep food magically fresh using the power of the large rhokshial crystal. Its appearance will vary depending on the colour of the bear fur, the colour of the crystal, the type of wood riving and the type of thread on the needle.

Doctor Kelleflump's Deadly Demon

What's it called? Doctor Kelleflump's Deadly Demon (in short, DKDD)

What does it do? It kills people, and is one of the best spells for doing this in the Disc. Technically speaking, it brings forth a demon that attacks your intended target (most of the time; a non trivial number of times, it attacks you). It only attacks one target at a time.

What does it require? A heart (consumed in the process). An optional and very handy extra is casting it while wearing a darkened silver amulet, which will protect you from (some) backfires and will eventually melt after a certain number of uses.

What skills do I need? Dancing, Cursing, Summoning, Abjuring, Banishing

Has it worked? You'll know if it didn't... A correct output will read something like this:

You trace out complex runes on the ground with your feet.
You speak horrible names and blasphemous rites.
You squeeze the heart in your hand, calling forth demonic power.
You order the gathering shadows to destroy the troll bodyguard.
You scream: Avaunt, foul spirit!
A mass of shadow suddenly comes alive, forming into humanoid shape.
With a terrible laugh it hurls itself towards the troll bodyguard.
The demon chews on the troll bodyguard's face; he screams horribly.
The demon slowly fades back into shadow, leaving behind a sickly smell and an oily feel to the air.

In this example, I have chosen one of 7 possible damage messages. This is one is the second highest, and sometimes comes with a funny aftereffect:

The demon appears to have bitten off the troll bodyguard's nose!

The seven + one damage messages you can get are (in what I think is damage order, from least to most):

A patch of shadow starts to form, but slowly melts again, leaving only a faint stench of evil.
The demon flicks the mercenary's ear, hard.
The demon sucker-punches the huge troll.
The demon rends the lumbering troll with its claws.
The demon cruelly punctures the angry troll fighter with razor-sharp claws, tearing stone flesh apart.
The demon shreds the hulking troll with razor-sharp claws, sinking fangs into his stony flesh.
The demon chews on the angry troll fighter's face; she screams horribly
The demon sticks its arm entirely through the murderous fighter. You can see it on the other side!

As noted, the spell can backfire rather terribly. This comes from either failing the skillchecks, or just from the demon deciding to attack you anyway. For the latter, the amulets offer some protection.

Damage mostly comes in two forms: there's the pure damage of the demon hurting you, and there's an extra damage sometimes that comes from possession, which accumulates through time before going away, and gives some funny messages. After some time, it goes away:

A ball of shadow begins to form, and suddenly attaches itself to you!
You feel darkness enter your inner being...
Your head slowly rotates around in a full circle.
You scream.
You loudly exclaim: Ghrrzg Xrepticca R'thag R'yleh Fthaugn!
You suddenly vomit a thick green liquid that looks suspiciously like pea soup.
You say: You are mine, all mine!
You laugh demonically.

You feel the nightmare presence leave your body.

Notes: This is one of two top wizard spells. I find it invaluable: even if it can backfire, it is a consistent troll-killer. It will allow you to kill things which others spells hardly dent. It does take a long time to cast, though.
Having said that, today I experienced a backfire of +2800 hps damage which almost killed me. I know other people get these regularly. I've been lucky, or the amulets and decent skill bonuses are protecting me.

Worstler's Advanced Metallurgical Glance

What's it called? Worstler's Advanced Metallurgical Glance (in short, WAMG)

What does it do? This spell is the older brother of its similarly named Worstler's Elementary Mineralogical Glance. Just as that spell allows you to scry into a rock that you have previously imprinted (through Amazing Silicate Blorper) with a room, this spell does the same, but for some piece of jewellery that you have turned into a place's blorple through the spell Al Hrahaz's Scintillating Blorper.

What does it require? Obviously, a blorpled piece of jewellery

What skills do I need? Animating, Divining, Scrying

Has it worked? A correct output should read something like this:

You prepare to cast Worstler's Advanced Metallurgical Glance on the ruby ring.
> You call to the knowledge within the ruby ring.
You think of the location encoded in the ruby ring.
You stare at the ruby ring.
The ruby ring seems to urge you to gaze into it.
gaze into casino
You see a vision in the ruby ring:
The foyer of the Diamond City Casino is a lavish affair in red velvet drapes, golden ropes and beautiful looking staff cajoling, begging and pleading with people wandering in to spend all their money on drinks, slots and cards.  In fact, perhaps it could be fun to go and hang around at the bar and have a drink or two, sampling some of the slot machines and poker games in the process.  Most people enter the Casino after getting this far, so it would be silly not to just go with the flow now...  Wouldn't it?
There are three obvious exits: east, southeast and west.
A security guard is standing discreetly by the entrance.

Notes: If a room is protected, you are likely to get a message like this when trying to look at it:

The emerald ring's surface goes blurry, but refuses to show anything of value.

Books - Spells of Thee Moste Ceremonious Rite of AshkEnte

At the moment, I think there are only four spells that I haven't been able to cast yet. Two of them lie inside this grimoire, not so long ago rediscovered deep into the aisles of the Unseen University library. The are the famous spells for summoning Death itself! Their very specific purpose, the really expensive components consumed in the summoning, the requirement of many wizards with top-level skills for the casting, all conspire against any uses in the near future.

Still, I decided to go and take a look at the book. Here it goes:

This is somewhere in the Library of Unseen University. You are at a dead-end: there are shelves to your right, to your left and in front of you.
The air is filled with a low susurration, the sort of noise that would be produced if you took a thousand people wearing leather gloves and got them to play pianos with no strings.
There is a strange distortion in space and time to the left of you!
Your skin tingles with the discharge of magic and the air feels greasy and tastes of tin.
There are two obvious exits: backward and left.
A closed plain black book is chained to the ornate lectern.
look lectern
This tall reading desk has been fancifully fretted and carved with phantasmagorically interlaced gryphons, dragons, and twisting vines. Here and there, a tiny wizard looks out from the pattern, clutching the lines as if still trying to escape...
>

This is a small and square book, whose cover is the deepest darkest black. A faint blue aura is visible when you are not looking directly at it. Small octarine sparks crackle fitfully through the creases and folds in the pages. It appears to have something written on it. It is closed.
> read book
You read the cover of the closed plain black book: Spells of Thee Moste Ceremonious Rite of AshkEnte

Wonker's Wicked Wobble

What's it called
? Wonker's Wicked Wobble (in short, WWW)

What does it do? One of the best spells available out of the group that have being catered for the Silver Stars, Wonker's allows you to turn your opponent's weapons into rubber. The effect lasts for some time, and it has some interesting consequences:

1) The weapon adds a new line to its description, which goes as follows: "It seems to be fighting to maintain its rigidity, occasionally going completely limp and floppy, before regaining a more solid form. A pungent smell of burnt rubber wafts from it."
2) The victims will automatically attack the wizards that have 'rubberized' their weapons.
3) Rubber weapons became more cumbersome to employ and to cause damage. They became blunting objects unable to make the usual specials you are allowed with metal pieces with pointy bits (and thereby making many npc's very easy to kill). From this, it might be gathered that they aren't much use against blunt weapons.

From all this, we can gather that Wonker's is quite a useful spell as a fight-starter, and it can be very handy against rivals who like to launch lots of specials on you with swords or daggers. In a way, it works in a tandem with Stacklady's to form a group of defensive/offensive spells: both are offensive (although Stacklady's no longer causes auto-attack), but their trick is that they work not by doing damage, but by weakening or almost entirely elimating your opponent's possibility of harming you.

Where is it? One of the moulding and crafting spells, it lies inside the unnamed book that is known by some as Intermediate Artifact Magic, fourth ed., in the depths of the Unseen University Library.

What does it require? A rubber knife. In theory, most casts shouldn't consume then, but be ready for very frequent replacing. Miscasts, or even good casts can end up with the knives either melting away, bouncing the rubbery effect back on your own weapons and/or turning into a peppermint (at least, something nice to eat...).

What skills do I need? Gold, Binding, Rod, Enchanting

Has it worked? The proper output should read something like this:

You prepare to cast Wonker's Wicked Wobble on the xxx (weapon in enemy).
You wobble from side to side and bring the malleability of gold to the forefront of your mind.
You draw on the floppiness of the rubber knife.
You weave a rubbery replica of the xxx from the strands of your thoughts.
You project an image of the model which floats above you.
The rubbery creation flies into the xxx's rubbery xxx, and with a 'Glup!', melds into it.

Help Information:

Very little is known about Wicked Wobble. Some sketchy notes for the spell were discovered when they found the deceased Wonker - well a rubber statue that resembled his university iconograph. Nasty things those magical backfires.

All that is known, is that the spell can be targetted on weapons (normally in the inventories of enemies) to alter their structure.

Example

cast Wonker's Wicked Wobble on hairpin in aquilo

Von Hasselhoff's Skin Condition

What's it called?
Von Hasselhoff’s Skin Condition (in short, VHSC)

What does it do? This is one of the necromancer spells. When cast on someone, it causes them a horrible skin disease that lowers their stats and gives some damage over time.
The spell doesn't cause much damage, but it can be annoying, as its effects take some time to pass. If the component (a whole human skin) didn't weigh so much, it would probably get a great deal more use than at present, when it is seldom seen except as an expedient for taskmastering some healing while on the way to other spells (like Wungles's).

Where is it? Part of the set of spells that torment the flesh and employ dead corpses as component source, it belongs to the Body Parts for the Advanced Student grimoire, at the Unseen University Library.

What does it require? A human skin, which is consumed in the process.

What skills do I need? Convoking, Healing, Charming, Binding

Has it worked? The proper output should read something like this:

You prepare to cast Von Hasselhoff's Skin Condition on xxx (target)
You roll the skin up and tear several holes into it.
You take the rolled up skin and slowly twist it until it begins to break and bleed.
You utter random magical-sounding gibberish from deep within your throat.
You stroke the skin gently then point at xxx.
A wave of darkness washes over xxx and after it passes you see xxx’s skin seem to twist around her/his body, tearing painfully away from the flesh and fat underneath and leaving horrible wounds in its wake.

Help Information

Von Hasselhoff's Skin Condition - Give the target a horrible skin condition.

Like so many inventions, Von Hasslehoff's spell was a failed result of another experiment. Attempting to cure acne actually resulted in this horrific skin disease that is painful and debilitating to the target. Von Hasselhoff died famous among necromancers, but still pimply.

Transcendent Pneumatic Alleviator

What's it called?
Transcendent Pneumatic Alleviator (in brief, TPA)

What does it do? This spell is such a staple fare for wizards it is almost needless to explain what it does. Nevertheless (just in case some newbie reader is around), TPA is your main magic protection spell, after the floating shield. The big brother (and more effective version) of Sorklin's Field of Protection, it will create a protective shield around you which will suck up hits until destroyed.
Four things of importance about it:
1) The number of hits it receives will make it change colour (giving you a clue of how much longer it is going to last). It starts with invisible, then dull red, bright red, wobbling orange anf flickering yellow. Once in the last stage it is almost broken, and some damage may pass through it even before it 'breaks'.
2) Even after it has been hit, if the damage stops, it will recover over time (say, a wobbling orange will go back to bright red, and so on). Nevetheless, a recovered shield will be weaker than before. Also, time acts against the shield: after a certain amount of it, the shield will break even without any damage.
3) The magic shield is meant to work as a 'backup' to the floating shield (EFF), allowing you offensive casts and some hits to pass the floater without disturbance. Once a floater is down, it will buy you pretty little time (depends against whom and how many you're fighting) to run away before breaking, so keep an eye on the 'breaking' message (There is a sudden white flash. Your magical shield has broken). It is a good idea to turn the line into a colour trigger, for easy glance in combat.
4) It can be cast on yourself and on others (in fact, it works great for others, dodge or parry/armour users, as they will get few hits using their defences, unlike wizards, and the few they get will be negated by TPA)

Where is it? As the idea behind it is making a shield out of almost thin air, it belongs inside the Invoakatyons in thee Mysterie of Wynd grimoire, at the Unseen University Library.

What does it require? A handful of ash and a shield, of some kind. The ash is consumed in the process. The shield has to be a 'real' one (i.e., one that you can 'hold') or the efficiency of the cast will be very low. It is good idea to get your hands on the lightest available (right now, medium leather).

What skills do I need? Evoking, Air, Chanting, Enchanting, Channeling

Has it worked? The proper output should read something like this:

You prepare to cast Transcendent Pneumatic Alleviator on xxx
You consider the function of a shield.
You send your thoughts probing into the air around xxx.
You recite a rumbling roll of rustling rhymes.
You lif the ash and scatter it around xxx.
You weave a magical impact shield around xxx.
With a noise that sounds like “Plink!”, everything around xxx flashes red for a moment.

Turnwhistle's Effulgent Autiridescence

What's it called? Turnwhistle's Effulgent Autiridescence (in short, TEA)

What does it do? Well, Turnwhistle's allows you to turn any item you want into the equivalent of a yellow stone ring (that is, an item that will give 'light' while worn at the cost of using some of your gps). It is a pretty straightforward thing. The 'light colour' of the transformed item will depend on what was the light the glass nugget had when the spell was cast (see below).
There isn't much use for the spell, as wizards tend to use magic for seeing in the dark (or permalights) and I doubt there's much of a demand for what amounts to customized yellow stone rings. Still, it is nice to have all sorts of spells.
The spell has an 'anti-matter' equivalent in Skeetbraskin's Fuliginous Perdition, which returns the items affected by it to their original, 'lightless' state.

Where is it? Being a part of the crafting business (in this case, light-object crafting), it belongs inside the Intermediate Artifact Magic, fourth ed. volume, at the Unseen University Library.

What does it require? the focus of an octogram, a lantern, a shimmering glass nugget and an item of clothing, armour or jewellery upon which to cast the spell. In the past, the nugget was consumed in the process, but I believe the one that dissapears now is the lantern...

What skills do I need? Divining, Convoking, Evoking, Binding

Has it worked? The proper output should read something like this:

You prepare to cast Turnwhistle's Effulgent Autiridescence on the xxx.
You light the lantern and turn the xxx meditatively in your fingers, noting how it reflects the light.
You turn the lantern carefully and place it into the heart of your shimmering glass nugget.
You reach into the heart of your shimmering glass nugget and draw out the essence of lantern light, letting it play around your fingers.
You wrap the xxx carefully in the essence of lantern light, braiding the colourful strands in a complex weave.
The xxx flashes through all of the rainbow's colours before settling into an aqua/vermilion/jade green glow, which sinks into its surface without a trace.

Notes:

When you wear the item, you get the following lines (change colour to appropiate one):

A jade green glow spreads out from your middle to envelop you.

He is surrounded by a jade green glow.

Torqvald's Illusion Generatrix

What's it called? Torqvald's Illusion Generatrix (in brief, TIG)

What does it do? This is the top-notch Hoodwincker spell. After a successful cast, it will create a new spell (it has a weird name, the first part of it being your own name. One of mine's, for example, was Winswand's Zethir Huphiv), that needs to be designed and written by yourself after the cast. You are first informed of how many characters you can use (this depends on skills and background magic). Then you start text-editing. You can add colours and similar items. One you're done and saved, the spell appears in your head. Its size will very depending on number of characters (the more, the bigger), and it will use a combination of components that varies for each spell, but tends to incluse a pinch of ash and a bronze ring (not consumed).
The new spell is an 'illusion'. That means that when you cast it, the lines of text that you've written for it will appear to other people in the room as if they where 'natural' happenings. That makes it nice and fun for playing little pranks, like death messages, hp damage and fake stealing messages.
So, what's its use? Really, none at all. It's just a toy spell, played for fun (arguably, *the* best toy spell, as it allows you to create your own personal illusion spells). I can hardly think ways to make it useful, but there may be some in pkdom, as it is fast to cast (deceive pursuers about damage or place you've run to?).

Where is it? Even though it isn't that easy to cast (not hellishly difficult either, that's true...), it lies inside the Cunjuryng for Begynners volume, at the Unseen University Library.

What does it require? a small bucket, a silver ring, a book end and a quill. Except for the bucket, all the components are consumed in the casting.

What skills do I need? Air, Binding, Conjuring, Charming, Channeling, Conjuring (2), Charming (2)

Has it worked? The proper output should read something like this:

You prepare to cast Torqvald's Illusion Generatrix.
You examine the quill.
You hold the bucket tightly.
You ceremonially place the quill in the bucket. / You drop the quill into the bucket.
You summon the powers of the mind's eye.
You neatly toss the ring into the bucket. / You flip the ring into the air and catch it in the bucket.
You hold the end raised in one fist.
You make three passes with the end over the bucket and drop it in; the contents of the bucket vanish! / You wave the end over the bucket and drop it in; the contents of the bucket vanish!
Please enter the text of the illusion which you wish your new spell to create. For this illusion, you may use up to xxx characters. Leave a totally blank line where you want a carriage return in the text of your illusion.
Enter your text. Use ** on a line by itself to exit.

Sorsalsean's Seismic Eruption

What's it called? Sorsalsean's Seismic Eruption (in short, SSE)

What does it do? This is the famous 'earthquake' spell. After casting, it will make the floor rumble in the room where you're in, and some consequences will be falling on the floor and (others aside from the caster), beign violenty thrown out of the room.
As to its uses, they are quite limited, but real, and similar to other recourses (cfs. priestly rituals) which make people get out of a place you don't want them in. Otherwise, it is just a funny spell which is quite easy to cast as a Circle...
In the past, it was said that the 'falls' could imply some reasonable or even heavy damage. This isn't so anymore.

Where is it? The earth-rumbler is one of the earth-and-rock related spells that lies inside Thee Dyscyplyne of thee Stoane grimoire, at the Unseen University Library.

What does it require? A pebble, which is consumed in the process

What skills do I need? Earth, Evoking, Chanting, Channeling, Dancing

Has it worked? The proper output should read something like this:

You prepare to cast Sorsalsean’s Seismic Eruption.
You stare vaguely at the ground.
You begin to gather geothaumic energy into yourself.
You shout loudly, hoping to transfer the remaining energy into the ground.
With a flick of a finger, you transfer the remaining energy into the ground.
You drop a pebble, and tap your foot impatiently.
An earthquake rips through the room!

Notes:

While it is working, people will be tripping and leaving the room, and you'll get the following output messages from time to time:

(The ground starts to shake violently.)
(The earth roars with ferocious intent.)
A brief sudder indicates that the earthquke is not quite over yet.
An aftershock rips through the ground, shaking the room from side to side.
The earth quivers slightly and then everything is calm again

Skeetbraskin's Fuliginous Perdition

What's it called? Skeetbraskin's Fuliginous Perdition (in brief, SFP2)

What does it do? One of the (relatively) new daemonologist spells, Skeetbraskin's works as a counter-spell to Turnwhistle's Effulgent Autiridescence. The latter turns any item into a light source similar to yellow stone rings. The former cancels that effect and makes the item normal and 'light-free' again.
Overall, the spell is quite useless, unless you are a very regular caster of TEA. Still, I wouldn't complain about the addition of any new spell, whatever it may be...

Where is it? As it brings forth evil slime for its light-extinguishing purposes, it follows it should lie inside the My Firste Demon-Summoning Booke! By Beatrix Faust grimoire, at the Unseen University library.

What does it require? Nothing. An item that has previously had TEA cast over it.

What skills do I need? Summoning, Abjuring, Conjuring, Banishing

Has it worked? The proper output should read something like this:

You prepare to cast Skeetbraskin's Fuliginous Perdition on xxx.
Whispering the secret names of darkness and pain, you dip your left hand into the shadows beyond the edge of the Disc and withdraw a handful of oozing, writhing, squamous slime.
You snarl a Word of Compulsion at the demonic slime coating your hand, abjuring it from devouring your fingers.
You raise your hand dramatically, lofting a writhing blob of cold, corrupt darkness at xxx.
You shake the remainder of the demonic slime from your hand, sending it spattering across the lower dimensions whence it came.
The demonic slime lands on xxx with a loud GLUP, sinking into the surface and leaving behind a faint lightless black patina. The world seems a little darker now.

Help Information:

Skeetbraskin's Fuliginous Perdition - summon demonic slime from the darkness beyond the edge of the Disc to remove inherent light from an object.

Skeetbraskin's Fuliginous Perdition is a zeroth order offensive spell which will turn an item enchanted with Turnwhistle's Effulgent Autiridescence into an ordinary non-glowing item.
